TMS' COVID-19 Re-entry FAQs

TMS' COVID-19 Re-entry FAQs
Posted on 08/27/2020
Parents,

Calls have been made this week to capture your final decisions on whether your child will return to traditional or face-to-face learning. We need to finalize our plans. If you have not already communicated your intent to a teacher who has called this week, please notify us on or before September 1 For students who have unverified decisions, all such students will be enrolled in School-Based Digital Learning. The earliest that students could return to face-to-face learning is October 8, 2020. We have included TMS' COVID-19 Re-entry FAQs to aid you in making that decision. Again, if you do not convey to us your decision, your child will remain enrolled in school-based digital learning.

As we prepare for students to return, TMS wants to provide a summary of questions that parents have asked. We hope these responses address the concerns that you may have regarding the safety of students who will return to face-to-face instruction on September 14, 2020. Additionally, we want to establish processes and procedures to create and maintain a flexible, productive and rigorous learning environment whether face-to-face or school-based digital learning. Please be patient as we will have to reassess and adjust constantly to provide the safety and instructional assurances you desire.
