I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. I moved to Atlanta at the beginning of October 2006 and started to work for Turner by the end of October.
I am a sports freak! I love the Ohio State Buckeyes!! What is a buckeye? Well, my students will find out so much information about the school and the mascot by the end of the year; ask them all about it!
Family is extremely important to me! My dad and step-mom live in Cody, Wyoming, and I love to visit them during the summer time. My mother travels a lot; currently, she lives in Portland, Oregon, but that is subject to change at any moment. My older brother was in the Coast Guard, and he now lives in New York City and works for NBC. I also have a half-brother who lives in Ohio; he graduated from the Ohio State University majoring in engineering; he now contracts for a company. I have three wonderful dogs who I consider my children; Scarlet Grey and Brady are 10 lbs. miniature dachshunds; Woody is a 90 lbs. pit bull.
In the Classroom:
I love teaching! I have very high expectations for all of my students and will hold them accountable for their education and actions. I am not afraid to keep parents informed about their child's progress whether good or bad. I reward students as much as possible! I am open and honest. If I feel they are not working to their full potential, they will know about it. If students or parents have any questions, whether it be about grades, behavior, work habits, projects or even homework, please feel free to e-mail me at any time.
