In the event of school closings, please complete an assignment each day.  Check back daily for updates. You can complete assignments by logging into Google Classroom in the portal or by opening the pdf document and writing answers on notebook paper.  For the NewsELA articles -  read, complete the quiz, and write a summary of the article.  For the ReadWorks articles, read, complete the questions, and be sure to answer any short answer questions in complete sentences and provide evidence to support your answer (include your "I know because..." or "The evidence to support my answer is...".  Bring in your work to be graded upon returning to class or submit through NewsELA/ReadWorks/Google Classroom.

Digital Assignments - Week of March 30th-April 3rd Day 11_ReadWorks_Casey at the Bat (poetry).pdf Day 12_Using the poem from yesterday, "Casey at the Bat", answer the following question using RACE or 1-2-3 Short Constructed Response strategy - What evidence in the poem supports the theme of "Too much pride can lead to failure."  Complete the Google form in Google Classroom.   Day 13_Using the poem "Casey at the Bat", write a response describing what happened to Casey after he struck out.  Complete the Google form attached in Google Classroom. Day 14 and 15_Look over Days 11-13 in Google Classroom and check for completion.  Finish any incomplete assignments.  If all is complete, please go to ClassWorks and work on ILP.
