Lithia Springs High School is proud to celebrate one of our very own, Olympic gold medalist Elana Meyers Taylor, as she returns home for a special community celebration.
A proud alumni of Lithia Springs High School, Meyers Taylor will be honored on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Douglasville Town Green. Hosted by the Douglas County School System, Douglas County Government, and the City of Douglasville, this exciting event will recognize her incredible Olympic success and outstanding achievements in bobsledding.
The celebration will include food trucks, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and a special ceremony in honor of Elana’s accomplishments. Guests will also have the opportunity to take photos and get autographs from our hometown Olympian.
This event is free and open to the public, and we encourage our Lithia Springs High School community, alumni, and supporters to come out and show their Lion pride as we honor one of our own.
