Softball Interest and Requirements

  • Fill out interest form here

  • Experience is great, but not necessarily required to try out

  • Try outs will be announced at the beginning of the term

  • Must attend all tryout days to be considered for the team

  • Can not have failed two or more classes this past term

  • Must be able to balance academics and athletics

  • Must be a driven, kind, team player and be willing to learn

  • Must understand that we learn as a team, work as a team and play as a team

  • Must have reliable transportation

 Requirements

  1. Softball dues-$125.00 

  2. Must have a current physical

Apparel and Equipment required to participate

  1. Softball glove

  2. Softball pants

  3. Black socks

  4. Black belt

  5. Cleats (please avoid metal)

  6. Softball bat (highly encouraged to minimize contact due to Covid-19 precautions)

  7. Softball Jersey (Provided by TMS)

Bat Specifications

  • Bat must meet the requirements set forth by the GHSA and must bear the USA/ ASA Certified label

  • Bats labelled USSSA are considered illegal (a full listing of illegal bats can be obtained from the coach)

  • Bats should be no more than 34 inches in length, must have a 2 ¼ inch barrel diameter and not be over 31 ½ oz in weight.
