Student Supply List

For safety reasons, students will not be able to carry any backpacks to class,
so there is no specific bookbag type that we are requesting. All students will be issued a locker FOR FREE. Bookbags must be left inside the locker for the entire school day.
3-Ring Binder :
Each student at Turner will need to have one binder to be used in all of their classes. This will help students be organized and provide a communication platform between the teachers, students, and parents. These are the items associated with the One Binder. These binders can be found at Staples, Office Max, Amazon, and Walmart, as well as other stores with school supplies.
● One 3-Ring Binder that is at least 2 inches to 3 inches and durable quality
● 7 Dividers (many students find that dividers with pockets are helpful)
● A good supply of white filler paper
● Pens and Pencils
● A zipper pouch that fits into the binder to hold pens/pencils

Other Recommended Supplies:
● 2 Composition notebook Wide / College ruled
● Blue and black ink pens, pencils No. 2, highlighters, colored pencils / markers
● Headphones / earphones (bring daily)
● Graph Paper (for Math Class)
● White Out
● Index Cards
● Erasers
● Sticky Notes
*Some advanced classes may require additional supplies. These will be
indicated by the teacher at the start of the school term.*

**In addition, any course specific supplies such as composition notebooks, etc. may be requested by individual teachers

Back to School Checklist

Get all recommended immunizations (especially 7th graders)
Review the school dress code and take along while school shopping
Complete Summer Reading if applicable
Meet teachers and tour the school at Sneak-a-Peek on August 6th (5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
Find bus routes and times for pick-up and drop-off (practice routes) also at Sneak-A-Peek on August 6th

If walking, walk your child to and from school a few times
If carpooling, introduce your child to all carpool drivers
Arrange for after-school care and establish a homework location and schedule
Plan a menu for breakfasts, packed lunches, and after-school snacks
Review the district school calendar for all important events and breaks
